It was the final run of the cross country season y

It was the final run of the cross country season yesterday with both the mens and womens teams competing at Coombe Abbey Park The weather was fine and the course was flat and fast (despite the sheep!).
Both teams had a great turn out and all runners put in a great effort.

Well done to everyone that has taken part in cross country runs this season and a huge thank you to our team captains Tracey Jayne Willetts and Neil Hale ..... they both do a great job in getting the teams together, planning training sessions, organising car sharing, registering users etc.

Cross country time again - the second race of the

Cross country time again - the second race of the season.
The Midland Counties Road & Cross Country ladies team were in Cheltenham on a great, fairly flat course with a bonus water crossing.
Eight men took part on the division three Birmingham Cross Country League at Clopton Park in Stratford-upon-Avon. Great to see two strong teams racing in December.

The teams are back together for race three in Aldridge on the 14th January - all members are invited to come along and run around in the mud and all will be made most welcome 😎

Well done to the Cobra teams taking part in the first cross country run of the season today at Park Hall Country Park in Stoke. Eight ladies ran in the division two of the Midland Counties Road & Cross Country and seven men in division three of the Birmingham Cross Country League It is always great to have both teams together as the support is fantastic!
There were some excellent performances across both teams on a challenging course which was hilly and rather stoney underfoot.

Next races are on Saturday 3rd December - Stratford for the men and Cheltenham for the ladies.....good luck teams! 👏🐍💛🖤

Well done to Neil Hale Lee Webb Rob Smith and Kristina Newton for completing the Snowdonia Marathon this weekend - Congratulations to Kris on coming 2nd in her age category 🥳

Earlier in the month Sam Henderson and Kerry Henderson took on the Beachy Head Marathon rounding off a series of epic events.

Rob Smith completed the amazing Atlantic Coast Challenge running from Padstow to Lands End along the South West Coastal Path - 3 marathons in 3 days 😵‍

Steve Amos was back up north completing the Manchester Half

and finally....it was a great turn out for the end of month club run, a very autumnal 6 miles starting from Waseley Hills followed by some excellent cake at The Windmill Cafe

Matt Watts, Margaret Quigley, Craig Davidson and Si Lis took part in the TCS London Marathon

Mark Richard Woodall and Lee Webb were in Chester for the MBNA Chester Marathon and were joined by Jackie Payne, Sam Brooke, Jenny Stinton, Andrew Willetts, Tracey Jayne Willetts, Catherine Smith, Jade Cousins and Pauline Allen for the Metric distance.

And Aldo Mussi took part in the half marathon distance Cardiff Half Marathon 2022
